Shopping List
A shared household shopping basket with real-time price comparison across Israeli supermarket chains. Choose your preferred store and get an estimated basket cost.
What is it?
The underone shopping list is synced across all household members. You add products by generic product groups, then choose a preferred store — the system matches available products in the selected store and calculates an estimated basket cost.
How to use it

Open the tab
Go to /me and select the "Shopping" tab.

Add items
Search for a product by name or product group (e.g. milk, bread, cereal). Add a quantity for each item.

Set item status
Each item can be NEEDED or IN_STOCK. Items already at home don't need to be purchased.

Choose a preferred store
Select a supermarket chain — the system loads available products from the branch nearest to your home city.

Review the basket estimate
See the total estimated basket cost and identify items not available at the selected store.

Substitute a product
If a product isn't available at the store, you can swap it for a close alternative that is in stock.
Price comparison logic
Prices are pulled in real time from Israel's supermarket price database. The system matches a specific product to each list item based on the chosen store.
The home city set in the household profile is used to filter available branches — so prices are calculated for the store closest to you.
The basket estimate is the sum of all NEEDED items found at the store. Missing items are shown separately so you can decide whether to try a different store.
Your preferred store is saved for next time — no need to reselect on every visit.
Tips
- Mark items as IN_STOCK when you know you don't need to buy them — keeps the basket accurate.
- Add products by generic group (not a specific brand) to get broader results from the selected store.
- Compare two stores by switching the preferred store and checking the basket cost difference.
