Wishlist
Plan future purchases, track prices, and coordinate gifts with household members — no duplicate buys and no spoiled surprises.
What is it?
The wishlist is a place to record items you'd like to buy in the future — gadgets, clothes, home equipment, books, and anything else. Each household member can see the lists of others (with permissions) to prevent duplicate purchases and coordinate gifts easily.
How to use it
- 1
Open the tab
Go to /me and select the "Wishlist" tab.
- 2
Add an item
Click "Add item" and fill in title, quantity, estimated price, priority, and desired date.
- 3
Add a product link
Paste a URL from a shopping site — the system will try to automatically fetch the image and product details.
- 4
Browse household wishlists
See items other members have added to know what they want — handy for gift planning.
- 5
Mark as purchased
When you buy an item — mark it as purchased. You can note whether it was a gift and who gave it.
- 6
Edit or delete
Price changed? Found an alternative? Edit the details. Items no longer relevant — simply delete.
The logic behind the list
The tab shows two views: your own items only, and items added by other household members. The separation keeps privacy while enabling collaboration.
Link automation: when you paste a URL from popular shopping sites, the system tries to automatically fetch the product name, price, and image — saving manual typing.
Priorities help sort the list — high-priority items appear first so you always know what to focus on this month.
A desired date is useful for event-linked purchases: a birthday, holiday, or moving into a new home.
Tips
- Before buying a gift — check the wishlist of the other household member.
- Add an estimated price to every item — then you can see total desired spending vs. available budget.
- Paste links from Amazon, KSP, AliExpress, eBay, etc. for automatic product detail fetching.
